What our participants said about the project:

Marina: The training course GENDED GAP in Portugal was a life-changing experience that helped me to develop as a person, to learn more about the topic of the project and about how we can transform our work in order to be more productive using empathy and talking about ourselfs and also, to attend to the local people needs, as well as to develop new skills and exchange ideas. In this project, I made lifelong friendships and I keep in contact with the participants to see how our life develop further. I recommend to everyone take part in an Erasmus project as it is a unique opportunity to learn new things and develop yourself.

Polyxeni Nikolaou: The training course GENDED GAP in Portugal was another new experience and challenge for me. The experience and the knowledge gained in this project will be useful for my future professional and everyday life. I learned more about the topic, I developed my skills, and I enjoyed listening to other participants and sharing my experience with them. The organizers of the project made an effort to implement activities within the project as well as to fulfil the goals and tasks. The participants also did their best to participate actively in all the activities and tasks. Another advantage of this event is future cooperation between participants through potential projects. I recommend to everyone this project.

Antonis: From the 3rd of January till until the 8th, 2023, NOGORDIO had the opportunity to host 36 participants in a training course titled GENDED GAP. Participating countries included Cyprus, Greece, Lithuania, North Macedonia, Spain, Poland, Hungary, Croatia as well as the hosting country itself, Portugal. The course focused on Gender GAP among the women in work, discrimination and generally everywhere, but also empathy, meaning understanding target audiences, as well as people from all backgrounds. One of my favorite activities from the  aspects of the course was about accessibility. The project changed my way of life and make me thing a lot about discrimination and human rights

Haris Stylianidis: What a week!! Portugal a destination of memories we will be back!! 36 participants, 9 countries, discussing around Gender equality, social inclusion, making friendships all over Europe, facing taboos and stereotypes in such an interesting and intense program, fighting inner demons, and expressing yourself in so many different ways. And then Porto and Lisbon, where every corner is a different story, a different photo spot and finally #fado. Thank you Associação Nó Górdio. A very challenging, well structured informative programme, that managed to put people with different backgrounds, ethnicities and believes into a team making, decision making body, in order to discuss stereotypes and taboos that were so far discussed amongst same team members with the same ideas. A true examples of how a program can produce results and ideas that can tackle the subject discussed.
