The main objective of the association is to provide moral, cultural and material services to people and groups in need, developing activities to protect children, young people, the elderly, the family and the community in general, seeking their well-being through solidarity and help.

We seek to provide our participants with transforming and meaningful experiences in their lives.

We have been providing dozens of young people and youth workers with opportunities for training and participation in international meetings under Erasmus+ programmes which have enriched them and brought about a return to the community in which they are inserted very positively. Indeed, by empowering young people we are making a positive contribution to changing their communities.

We have been working on themes as diverse as Youth Entrepreneurship, Volunteering, Climate Change, Chess as a way to promote educational success, Citizenship, Cultural Diversity and Merging, etc.

We truly believe that we must have a proactive attitude and behaviour in order to preserve our planet. Looking beyond the current take-make-waste extractive industrial model, we advocate a circular economy that aims to redefine growth by focusing on positive benefits for society as a whole. It involves the gradual decoupling of economic activity from finite resource consumption, and designing waste out of the system. Thus, we bet on training towards a model that is supported by a transition to renewable energy sources, and that builds economic, natural, and social capital, based on the principles of designing out waste and pollution, keeping products and materials in use, and betting on the regeneration of natural systems.

The responsibility for the preservation of resources and the planet must be instilled in every action of the Association.

Non-formal education and informal education are the resources we use the most to enhance the success of our projects. We are a vast team, with different specialists, dedicated and engaged with the Nó Górdio Association and we believe in the results we have achieved thanks to our commitment and the fact that we are very hard-working, persistent and dreamy.

Our networking involves public schools, from all levels of education and local authorities such as town councils, parish councils, youth divisions, among others.
